- Inventory list; each lift van requires a separate inventory for clearance.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- MUST BE IN CHILE AT TIME OF CUSTOMS CLERANCE
- Returning Chilean citizens and those coming to work, are exempt from duties on household goods and personal belongings
RESTRICTED ITEMS/DUTIABLE
- Sporting guns require a carrying permit from the Weapons Control Bureau
- Tobacco products and alcohol
- New furniture subject to duties
- Importation of pearls, caviar, synthetic furs, semi-precious, uncut precious or synthetic stones for personal use only
PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Weapons and firearms
- Drugs, excluding those for medical purposes
- Pornographic material
MOTOR VEHICLES
- High duties apply, and are based on vehicle’s model, make, year, engine’s cubic capacity, transmission type, extras and purchase value
- To import used vehicles must be a returning Chilean or a duty exempt person
- Requires an original invoice of purchase
PETS
- Require a health certificate and appropriate vaccinations
