REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Copy of passport
- Copy of visa
- Customs declaration
- Business visa or residence and work permit
- Letter from employer stating employment
- Confirmation to return articles such as household machinery, works of art, electronics and so on
- Power of attorney
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- MUST BE IN EL SALVADOR IN ORDER TO CLEAR SHIPMENT.
- Phytosanitary certificate is required from both country of origin and destination in order to ship plants and vegetable products.
- Value list of paintings and artifacts are necessary because it is illegal to export any kind of artifact or painting unless you are able to prove that it was brought into the country with a value list.
**Always check with local authorities for any questions regarding prohibited items, automobiles, restricted goods and duty-free entry of household goods, alcohol, pets and so on.
