- Certificate of residence from the Commune
- Work permit
- Medical certificate
- Customs declaration written in French
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- Those with residence cards allowed to import used household goods and personal items duty-free if they have been in your possession for a minimum of 6 months prior to export
RESTRICTED ITEMS/DUTIABLE
- New furniture
- Alcoholic beverages
PROHIBITED ITEMS
- Drugs
- Ammunition and firearms
- Articles derived from endangered species
MOTOR VEHICLES
- May import vehicle duty-free if:
- Vehicle in owner’s possession and used for a minimum of 6 months
- Owner is transferring residence to Luxembourg
- The following documents are required:
- Original title
- Certificate of residence
- Insurance certificate that covered recent 6 months
PETS
- Cats and dogs allowed with recent health certificate
- May require a medical examination on arrival
