Romania Customs Information – HHGlogistics

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Copy of passport, include page with stamp of entry into Romania
  • Copy of visa
  • Work contract from employer in Romania stating dates of employment
  • Certificate of residence
  • Copy of registration from Romanian employer obtained at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce; or copy of home rental agreement.
  • Copy of fiscal code from employer
  • Inventory listed in Romanian, must be detailed, valued, dated and signed by owner
  • Provide details on the following items:
    • Electrical items – provide serial numbers
    • Precious metals, jewelry and antiques dated before 1945
    • 2 copies of invoices and photos of any valuable items, such as jewelry, TVs, paintings, antiques, and so on.
    • Copy of insurance certificate
    • Authorized Romanian Residence I.D.

    CUSTOMS REGULATIONS

    • YOUR PRESENCE IS REQUIRED IN ROMANIA FOR CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

    MOTOR VEHICLES

    • Your presence may be required for customs clearance
    • Vehicles subject to duties and value added tax
    • The following documents are required:
      • Invoice of sale, clearly stating price paid, date and place of purchase, and conditions of delivery
      • If applicable, transport invoice showing cost of transfer
      • Original documents showing owner’s name, engine and chassis number
